Custom Made Amish Hutches

The typical hutch found in an Amish home is 7' tall, the bottom base is 3' tall and the upper hutch is 4' tall. The top section is a full 14" deep (excluding moldings) to accommodate large plates.

Our solid wood hutches are built to your specifications using old-fashioned construction methods and will last a lifetime! The exposed backs feature solid ship lapped wood. Glass doors have wood moldings inside (not plastic!). Drawers are dovetailed with solid wood drawer bottoms. In many hutches, the bottom base displays dovetail frame construction with exposed hand-cut dovetails. Glass doors featuring true old-fashioned divided pane mutin bars are also available.
